What happens if my license expires or I cancel?
Your short links keep redirecting forever — redirects and basic tracking are part of the free core and never stop. Pro features pause, but every link, click record and setting stays untouched.
Where is my data stored?
In your own WordPress database. Click records stay on your server, IP addresses are stored as one-way hashes, and the plugin makes no analytics or advertising calls to anyone. Your data never leaves your site.
Does the 14-day Pro trial need a credit card?
No. Click start, get every Pro feature for 14 days. At day 14 the Pro features pause politely — no charge is possible because we never took a card.
Will short links hurt my SEO?
No. TrueSlug serves standard 302 redirects (the safe type for affiliate links), and every link can carry nofollow and sponsored attributes — the exact setup Google's guidelines ask for.
Can I migrate from Pretty Links or ThirstyAffiliates?
Yes — export your links to CSV from your old plugin and import them with TrueSlug's built-in CSV importer.
Does it work with caching plugins?
Yes. Each redirect is a single fast database lookup. If your cache plugin ever serves a stale page, exclude the link prefix (for example /go/) from full-page caching — a one-time setting documented in our knowledge base.
